Black Westchester is a prominent African American digital and print media platform based in Mount Vernon, New York. Founded in 2014 by journalist AJ Woodson, who serves as the Editor-In-Chief, the publication provides news, commentary, and community insights tailored to people of color throughout Westchester County and the Tri-State area. Co-owned by Publisher Damon K. Jones, its mission is to deliver community journalism with a distinct "Black Point Of View"
